Society of Illustrators of LA Summer Program Event

 Hey everyone!

I've been planning a summer series of programs for the Society of Illustrators of Los Angeles. We wanted to offer something for illustration students to prepare them for becoming entrepreneurs in their field. So, SILA is proud to introduce Baby Steps 1, 2, 3....a series of panels with industry professionals sharing insider advice on how to start and run an art business.

This month's panel will discuss the importance of web presence and creating a brand around your current body of work, so that you have something professional and consistent to sell (whether it be a service or a product). Our guest panelists are...

1. Marilyn Scott Waters, aka The Toymaker

2. Kim Dwinell

3. Cliff Cramp

All are super-prolific and successful illustrators with a broad range of experiences working in the field of illustration, animation, and product design. It's going to be a very in-depth and interesting discussion.
I hope you will join us THIS SATURDAY in Sherman Oaks in the Galleria Room, starting at 2pm.

Visit the Society of Illustrators of Los Angeles website for more information.
